Needlework System 4
The Ultimate Needlework Holder

"This is your stand for life"
(direct quote from an owner of a System 4 stand)

Stitchers' Paradise is very impressed with the functionality of this stand.  The excellent engineering has eliminated many of the annoying traits of needlework stands.

This is a GREAT needlework stand!

We decided to offer this stand because of the fantastic reports we heard from veteran stitchers.  The comment we heard over and over that really got our attention was:

"Once you get all the components, you'll never need another stand in your life!"

The ONLY disadvantage we saw was that the stand sits in front of you and the leg may have to go under your chair.  This eliminates use 1) in a recliner with the foot rest extended or 2) while sitting in a chair that goes completely down to the floor in the front so you cannot insert the front leg of the stand under the chair (Note:  the front leg of the stand isn't very thick so it can slip under most furniture).

Wait!  As Gisela used hers, she found she could usually place the stand off to the side a little and, unless she was working on a small piece, happily stitch away...in her recliner with the feet extended!

But, this disadvantage is overwhelmed by all the good features.

The brochure pictured above describes the advantages - read it carefully.  Here's the features that really excited Stitchers' Paradise:

1.  The stand is extremely light and folds compactly.  This means you can easily put it in your luggage or carry it around to a friend's house, a class, etc.

2.  Without a great deal of effort, you can take your piece off the stand when you finish stitching at night, collapse the stand, and stick it all in a closet.   This means does not have to become a permanent fixture in your living room unless that is what you want.

3.  Other stitchers will be drawn to the high tech look of the stand and will be impressed by the features.  This is an exciting stand because it is so different.

4.  This is a biggie:  Things don't slip and/or loosen.  When you lock in the angle of the head, etc., it stays there...period.  As you rotate your piece (be it mounted on stretcher bars, Q-Snaps or scroll frames) to tie off on the back side, the frame does not loosen or tighten up.   That is, you don't have to keep adjusting the tension on knobs (or handles) as you rotate your piece.

5.  The stand is guaranteed for life.

6.  The tactile feel of the stand is surprising.   As you rub it, it feels warm and smooth.

7.  The table clamp is marvelous.  Stitchers' Paradise has found that table clamps don't work on many tables due to the construction of the tables.  Below is a diagram of a side view of the type of table construction that is troublesome.  Most table clamps can't clamp onto the lip of the table, onto the support member itself, or behind the support member.  The System 4 table clamp is deep and long enough and to go under and behind the support member on most of these tables.
